Born and raised in the architecturally stunning Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires, my childhood was surrounded with beautiful art and culture. My neighborhood is home to some of the city’s most majestic palaces. As a child, I used to run around pretending I was royalty as I would walk by these beautiful buildings, and to some extent, I still do that today when I give my tours. I love imagining what life was like in the heyday of these palaces.
That same imagination and curiosity for history lead me to leave Argentina at the young age of 22. For 10 years of my life, I lived in Spain and spent my free time exploring Europe. This period of my life really cemented my passion for traveling. I would play pretend in palaces all around Europe while learning so much about the history along the way. While I adored my time abroad, I longed for the Buenos Aires’s unique beauty. Upon returning to Argentina, I studied business, education, and tourism to jumpstart my career as a tour guide. Pretending to be royalty and sharing all that I love about Buenos Aires is the greatest job I could have asked for. Come step back in time with me, as we discover the city’s most beautiful palaces.
I believe that a happy and fulfilled life is full of many different passions. Lucky for me, Buenos Aires is home to many of mine. I love futbol, beaches, authentic Argentine food, and the city’s many tasty desserts, like flan with dulce de leche. All of the wonderful things this city has to offer is why I am so passionate about it, and why I returned home after living in Europe for 10 years.
Just as I did in Europe, I would love to live in another continent for an extended period of time and see as many sights as I can. I have never been to Asia, but its vast size and varying landscapes intrigue me. As I jump from country to country, I’d meet so many people each with their own unique culture and outlook on life. I would love to see the South China Sea, some of the most spectacular beaches in Vietnam, the Himalayan mountains in Northern India, and the spectacular buildings of Tokyo.
