I’m originally from Boston, but its harsh winters sent me to search for more tropical lands. I traveled all around the United States and then eventually ventured into Latin America, where I fell in love with the passionate and diverse culture of each and every country throughout the area. In fact, I loved it so much that I decided to make traveling in the region my new career.
I made it my goal to share my new discoveries with everyone that came to visit me while I traveled around South and Central America for a few years. My family and friends really enjoyed me showing them around some of the place I had been and they convinced me to become a tour guide. I took up tourism as a career and it stuck. For 12 years, I’ve led a variety of unique tours in many different Latin American countries, such as Argentina, Panama, and many others. To this day, I am the only guide to ever lead a tour from Ushuaia, Argentina, one of the most southern cities in South America, all the way to Alaska. After years of traveling all around the region, I decided it was time to settle down. Upon reflection, I realized that Panama was the place that felt the most like home. Now, 14 years later, I’m still here leading tours. I know this country like the back of my hand. Panama may not be my birth country, but I give my tours like a local would.
Tourism is my passion and unlike many, I truly love my job. I love visiting new places and I believe a tour guide can really make or break the experience you have. I have so many vivid memories of all the knowledgeable guides around Latin America that helped me discover fascinating city secrets that only a local would know. Now, I spend my days trying to enhance each visitor’s experience in the hopes that he or she will fall in love with Latin America, just as my tour guides once did for me.
My fondest vacation memories are from when I was young and free and beginning my long journey throughout South and Central America. I hope to someday be able to take another extended period of time to do the same thing, but in another continent. I think visiting the countries along the Mediterranean would be fascinating. I love that these countries with their diverse languages and unique cultures can all share a common bond over this beautiful body of water. Plus, I can only imagine the wonderful seafood dishes I would taste as I travel along the coasts.

Gabe was FANTASTIC!! We had a great time. He was so nice and courteous. Gabe took extra care of my wife who had injured a shoulder the day before. He did all he could to make BOTH of us as comfortable as possible. Good adventures! But great guide!
