When I lived abroad, I couldn’t help but miss Chile. I found myself constantly telling my friends about my home country. I wished I could show it to them myself.
My love of traveling started when I was just 4 years old and my Chilean family moved to Brazil. For the next fourteen years, my family moved all over Brazil and we lived in Bahia, Salvador, and São Paulo. Ever since then, I’ve been driven to see the world and experience each unique culture within it. I believe that each place you visit can teach you something important about who you are, and for me, living abroad has made me into the easy-going and friendly person I am today. After living in both Brazil and Chile, my next big move was to California where I lived for 8 years. While I loved living abroad, I couldn’t help but miss my home country. I found myself constantly telling my friends about Chile and how they needed to visit. I wanted them to understand why I loved it so much and wished I could show it to them myself. After experiencing life in the States, I was inspired to return to Chile so I could pursue my dream: to start a tour agency where I could show travelers my beautiful country. As someone who loves learning about new cultures, I’m so happy I have found a job that lets me share my knowledge and love for Chile with like-minded people. Through my tours, I hope to give travelers a newfound appreciation for the region, and maybe even convince a few to stay a while longer.
I'm a jack of all trades. I love music, dancing, and cooking. But my main passion is definitely sports, especially soccer, or as we call it in Chile, futbol. It is my dream to go to Europe and visit all the magnificent stadiums and watch some of the best.
I would love to visit Asia. I am absolutely fascinated by the ancient history of Japan and China. I would love to see sights of former dynasties, the imperial era architecture, and, of course, I would love to taste the world-famous delicacies.
