I was born and raised in Costa Rica where I grew up in the rural area of Liberia. I was lucky to have grown up in Liberia, an area known for its vivid culture, zipline tours, and diverse natural wonders that only begin with its beautiful beaches, tropical dry forests, and volcanoes. In addition to the gorgeous environment I grew up in, I also constantly traveled to the far corners of Costa Rica with my family ever since I was a child. All of this has made me into the nature-loving person I am today! I love the outdoors, and even today I live near the Arenal Volcano and Monteverde. I love taking the time to observe nature, whether it is by birdwatching in the day or taking photos of frogs or snakes around my house in the evening. And of course, I love being able to explore nature with my job! My favorite part about being a tour guide is not only being immersed in nature but also being able to have the opportunity to meet new people and understand others’ ways of seeing the world.
I have a lot of passions in life, and I would say they all have to do with nature. Specifically, I would say that my passions are birding, photography, and sharing my awesome country with visitors from all over the world. I'm lucky that I get to enjoy all of these passions every day with my career.
My favorite place to be in the world is definitely immersed in nature all around me. Therefore, my dream vacation must have some wildlife, culture and a good beach spot. Costa Rica has all of this, so I really love living here! If I could pick another country to visit, I think Mexico would be amazing. The beaches of Tulum seem incredibly beautiful!
