Feel the seaside breeze of the Pacific Ocean, as you bike and hike along the beautiful coast of Lima. This half day of invigorating physical activity will end in the best reward, an unprecedented view of the entire city. Join local guide Beto as he takes you to three very interesting and diverse neighborhoods in the city. Along the way, you'll witness the beauty of the Pacific Coast, the art of the Barranco district, and the tradition of the Chorillos neighborhood.

The tour will start with two hours of laidback biking through the city along El Malecón, Lima's lively cliffside park with whimsical art, seaside views, and popular attractions like the Larcomar Mall. You will then reach Barranco for a completely different perspective of the city. The neighborhood is Lima's bohemian district and is full of artists, trendy restaurants, and Victorian style architecture.

After this portion of the bike ride, you will begin your hike. The rigorous uphill hike will take you through the traditional Chorillos neighborhood. Reaching the top of El Morro Solar Hill, you will then get to relax as you admire the incredible views of the city. With this perfect tour to see three diverse neighborhoods of Lima and get active, you'll feel as though you just spent the day exploring with a local friend, rather than being overloaded with information.

After twelve years of living and growing up in Lima, my family moved to the rainforest of Peru. From spending my whole life on the coast, the transition was strange, but I quickly discovered and fell in love with the culture, traditions, and food of the jungle. My memories of living in the Iquitos City, right near the Amazon River, are some of the happiest of my childhood. It taught me to be open-minded to new places, and that there’s so much more to the world just waiting to be explored.

After five years in Iquitos, I moved back to Lima to go to college. There, I started studying tourism as a gateway to explore more places. Studying tourism gave me incredible opportunities to travel to cities all over Peru and abroad. My love of Lima and desire to run my own tour company brought me home, and so I started hosting bike tours. After traveling around the world, never did I expect to end up back at home. Yet, I can honestly say I’ve found my true passion, showing travelers all around my city.
