Description

Torres del Paine National Park is known for its incredible and challenging treks, all of which end in spectacular views. This four-day set of excursions will take you to those views, while also allowing you to spend the night in the comfort of your hotel. Your local guides will pick you up early each morning for four exciting day trips. You can choose from any number of day excursions, including The Towers, French Valley, and Grey Glacier.

From spectacular ranges of snowcapped mountains to barren seascapes, from the solitude of the steppe to the warm and welcoming smile of a gaucho, Patagonia has endless beauty and you will experience it all. This tour is perfect for travelers looking for adventure on a less challenging scale than the park’s famed W trek. Your day trips may be modified based on your physical ability level or weather.

Sample Itinerary

Day One: The Towers (13 miles, 8 hrs)
Eat a hearty breakfast before meeting your guides to begin your days of adventure. Felipe and Nili have arranged for a private car to pick you up from your accommodations near the park and take you to your first day hike.

Warming up slowly but surely, the first hour of the trek will be uphill until you arrive at the beautiful Asencio Valley. Walking another hour, you will arrive at the Lenga forest, where you will start the most challenging part of the climb. The reward at the end of an uphill incline will be reaching the iconic base of the “three sister towers" - the best view in the entire park. There, you will enjoy a well-deserved lunch and have time to relax and connect with nature before making your way back to your hotel.

Day Two: French Valley (11 miles, 7 hrs)
Your day will start with a magnificent panoramic ferry ride, allowing you to see the whole Paine Massif Complex and admire the blue waters of Pehoe Lake. The 30-minute ferry ride will take you and your guides to Refugio Paine Grande. Hiking 2.5 hours with just your day pack, you will arrive at the Italian Camp to start your ascent to a stunning lookout. Witness the spectacular French Glacier and watch the impressive avalanches fall. You’ll be back at your hotel just in time for Happy Sour, that is, happy hour with pisco sour!

Day Three: Gray Glacier Lookout (7 miles, 4 hrs)
Get ready for one of the most unique excursions of your trip. Your guides will pick you up for early for a 4-hour hike, during which you will slowly ascend to the Grey Glacier Lookout. There, you will witness impressive ice fields and bright blue icebergs floating across Lake Grey. After making your descent, you will take the same scenic ferry ride and bus ride back to your hotel, allowing you to enjoy your last views of the park.

Day Four: Excursion of Your Choice
As your last day in the park, this day will be your time to truly take in the beauty and tranquility of Patagonia before returning to the real world. Felipe and Nili

We are a couple that is passionate about the wild and unique beauty of Southern Patagonia. As a pair, our mutual love of the outdoors brought us together, so we decided to make this shared interest into a business. Ever since we started, we’ve absolutely loved sharing our home with fellow adventure seekers from around the world.

Felipe

Born and raised in southern Chile, I grew up exploring and learning about nature with my grandfather. I have since loved everything about being outside. I love the beauty, the natural meditations, and I especially love constantly learning about the geology, history, and biology of the land. Through over 11 years of experience in guiding in Patagonia, I’ve become an expert on Parque Nacional Torres del Paine and know every single corner of the park. In addition to Torres del Paine, I’ve worked in other incredible destinations around Chile, like San Pedro de Atacama, where I had the opportunity to climb high summits, like Volcan Pili and Sairecabur. A true lover of adventure, I feel lucky every day that I get to work in one of the world’s most beautiful places. I truly have the best office in the world.

Nili

Originally from Turkey, I decided to go after my dream of traveling throughout South America. When I finally made it to Patagonia, I knew it was where I was meant to stay. As a record-holding paraglider and an advanced open water diver, I love all things adventure, so the beautiful mountains and exciting outdoor activities made it the perfect location for me. Prior to moving to Patagonia, I used to be a teacher who led and coordinated cultural immersion programs for international students. I also speak English, Spanish, Turkish, and German, and so with my language skills, experience teaching and leading tours, and love of adventure, I knew being a guide was my next career move. Not only have I found a job that combines my prior experiences, but one that lets me explore and discover every single day.
