Enjoy a trip to the Pacific Ocean by exploring two of the most popular Chilean coastal cities. With relaxing beaches, incredible food, live music, and, of course, exciting fiestas, it is no wonder that Valparaíso and Viña del Mar are local favorites. Driving two hours through the central valley’s mountainside landscape and scenic vineyards, you’ll reach Valparaíso, a cute San Francisco-like city with gorgeous views of the ocean. Through the maze of streets on the hilltop city, you’ll witness colorful street art, old architecture, and traditional Chilean shops and restaurants.
Next you will visit Viña del Mar, known for its beautiful beaches and unique and delicious seafood empanadas. Local expert Mauricio will guide you through the beautiful city, showing you its most popular attractions and also its hidden gems. After a full day of excitement, Mauricio will leave plenty of time for you to pause and admire the stunning coastline while enjoying authentic Chilean seafood empanadas.
Enjoyed touring the streets and viewing the street art. The rocks on the coast at Vina Del Mar were breathtaking and offered a great view of the entire bay.

My love of traveling started when I was just 4 years old and my Chilean family moved to Brazil. For the next fourteen years, my family moved all over Brazil and we lived in Bahia, Salvador, and São Paulo. Ever since then, I’ve been driven to see the world and experience each unique culture within it. I believe that each place you visit can teach you something important about who you are, and for me, living abroad has made me into the easy-going and friendly person I am today. After living in both Brazil and Chile, my next big move was to California where I lived for 8 years. While I loved living abroad, I couldn’t help but miss my home country. I found myself constantly telling my friends about Chile and how they needed to visit. I wanted them to understand why I loved it so much and wished I could show it to them myself. After experiencing life in the States, I was inspired to return to Chile so I could pursue my dream: to start a tour agency where I could show travelers my beautiful country. As someone who loves learning about new cultures, I’m so happy I have found a job that lets me share my knowledge and love for Chile with like-minded people. Through my tours, I hope to give travelers a newfound appreciation for the region, and maybe even convince a few to stay a while longer.
