Leave behind the skyscrapers of Santiago for the rolling hills of the Casablanca Valley wine region. Once immersed in the beauty of the valley, you won’t believe that you’re just one hour from the city. On this full-day tour, you’ll get to experience six incredible vineyards that make up one of Chile’s most important wine producing regions. Each of these innovative vineyards is home to their own unique flavors and atmospheres. Emiliana, for example, was named Chile’s 2015 Vineyard of the Year and is home to the country’s first organic wines. You’ll also get to see Veramonte, one of the valley’s first and foremost wineries. And, of course, let us not forget Casas del Bosque, awarded “Chilean Wine Producer of the Year” for the second year by the International Wine & Spirits Competition. As you tour all six of these important vineyards, you’ll get a taste for the outstanding flavors of this timeless Chilean tradition. Note: bring cash if you would like to purchase any wines or participate in wine tastings.
Must be at least 18 years old to participate in wine tastings (which you may participate in for an additional cost)
This tour was wonderful! We visited so many wineries and saw beautiful areas. The small winery was my favorite with the Frankenstein wines of chardonnoir. Mauricio was amazing as our tour guide. We also loved talking futball with him. Plus, we pet alpacas. I highly recommend this tour. Just remember, that you will have to carry the wine home.

My love of traveling started when I was just 4 years old and my Chilean family moved to Brazil. For the next fourteen years, my family moved all over Brazil and we lived in Bahia, Salvador, and São Paulo. Ever since then, I’ve been driven to see the world and experience each unique culture within it. I believe that each place you visit can teach you something important about who you are, and for me, living abroad has made me into the easy-going and friendly person I am today. After living in both Brazil and Chile, my next big move was to California where I lived for 8 years. While I loved living abroad, I couldn’t help but miss my home country. I found myself constantly telling my friends about Chile and how they needed to visit. I wanted them to understand why I loved it so much and wished I could show it to them myself. After experiencing life in the States, I was inspired to return to Chile so I could pursue my dream: to start a tour agency where I could show travelers my beautiful country. As someone who loves learning about new cultures, I’m so happy I have found a job that lets me share my knowledge and love for Chile with like-minded people. Through my tours, I hope to give travelers a newfound appreciation for the region, and maybe even convince a few to stay a while longer.
