Born and raised in São Paulo, I know this city like the back of my hand, from the best museums to the top restaurants to the most fascinating hidden gems. The city has been my playground, and it is home to a bustling Brazilian and international culture just waiting to be explored. In short, it’s the perfect city for travelers - that is, if you know where to go.
Before I was a guide, I worked in many different fields such as urban planning, NGOs, and government agencies. Yet, none of it was for me. I didn’t want to sit at a desk; I wanted to be out and about, exploring. In university, I studied tourism and history of São Paulo, so I decided put these two fields into action and give leading tours a try. I’ve been a guide since 2005 and have fallen in love with the profession. I like to think of myself more than just a guide though - I want to be a local friend, someone who shows travelers beyond just the touristy parts of the city. I want my guests to really feel welcomed to Brazil, to fall in love with the city, and to leave with a true understanding of the culture. On my tours, you’ll see parts of the city even residents don’t know about, you’ll discover the finest art and architecture of the city, and you’ll leave with a newfound appreciation for Brazil’s rich history and diverse ecosystems. Join me and discover the secrets of what makes Brazil so great!
