Description

Discover Buenos Aires through a camera lens on an urban photography adventure. During this walking tour, you’ll not only improve your photography skills, but you’ll also get to explore the most interesting and unique aspects of the city. The tour rotates between the beautiful and exciting neighborhoods of Palermo, Recoleta, Villa Crespo, and Cacarita, where Local Guide and professional photographer Amelia takes you to the sneaky side streets you would have never noticed on your own.

With a small group, Amelia will take you on a dynamic photography workshop throughout the city. Whether you are a beginner or advanced photographer, Amelia will show you new techniques to help you get the most out of your photos, including teaching you about aperture, finding the best light, and the many styles of photography you can try. Visiting Amelia’s favorite secret spots in the city, she will show you how to shoot more creatively with whatever tools you have, whether it’s a high-tech DSLR or a smartphone.

After exploring and documenting the city, your tour will end with refreshments and an editing 101 session so you can put the finishing touches on your beautiful photos. Come along on this creative journey as you embrace your inner travel photographer and get to know Buenos Aires like never before.

Amelia

Born in Toronto, Canada, I now call Buenos Aires my home. I first came to the city when I was visiting a friend. Captured by the beauty and ambiance of the city, I came back a year later to move here permanently. When I moved to Argentina in 2011, I began to fall in love with the city by exploring it through my camera lens. Working in freelance photography, I’ve become well-versed in all sorts of photography, including food, portraiture, architecture, and event photography. My career has even taken me to some incredible places like Antarctica, where I’ve led some outstanding photography groups. After freelancing for many years, I decided I wanted to share my love of photography by hosting tours. My dream was to create a street photography tour that would blend personal, client-focused learning with an urban photo adventure. On my tours I love to take travelers to the the city’s most hidden gems and unique neighborhoods, so they can take one-of-a-kind photos and get a feel for what makes Buenos Aires so unique. Whether you are a beginner or advanced photographer, let beautiful Buenos Aires be your backdrop to improve your skills. My camera has been the best way for me to discover my wonderful adopted city; now it’s your turn.
