Enjoy the best that Chile has to offer - wine and the beauty of the its countryside - all in one day! Local Guide Gabriel will pick you up and drive you through spectacular scenery to the San Esteban Vineyard, one of the most traditional vineyards in the Aconcagua Valley. There you will enjoy a relaxing wine tasting at the vineyard where you'll learn about their award-winning wines. Once you’re done with the wine, Gabriel will take you to Portillo, one of the oldest ski resorts in South America. There, you will enjoy expansive views of the Aconcagua Valley from the heights of the majestic Andes. Portillo is also home to the ruins of the Transandino Railway, an old railway that used to cross through the Andes to link Argentina and Chile. Here you can observe these old ruins and the way the trains used to go winding between tunnels and through steep cliffs across the Andes. Come and spend the day trying fine world-class wine and seeing magnificent sights in the Chilean countryside!
Must be 18 years or older to participate in wine tasting.

My dad is Chilean and my mom is Brazilian, yet I grew up all over South America. As the child of missionaries, I spent much of my childhood living in a motorhome, moving around different countries in the region. Growing up in this unique way, I was lucky to learn about all the interesting cultures in the region, to see the beauty and diversity, to meet interesting people from all walks of life, and, of course, to have many adventures! As an adult, I realized that, for me, the best way to continue to explore new cultures and meet new people would be through tourism. After years of working in Chilean tourism, I decided I wanted to start my own business so that I could really give my clients a more personalized and authentic view of my home country. For me, hosting a tour shouldn’t be a job; it should be like you are caring for a good friend. That’s how I approach every single one of my tours, as if I am showing a friend around my home!
